Who has time to put cherry tomatoes and mozzarella balls on tiny toothpicks? This and "fruit kebabs" for children's parties are things that I have literally only seen her eon DCUM, nowhere else.

Not to mention they're inappropriate for the season.

They’re red and green and people like them. And it’s easy enough to put this stuff on a stick that you can assign it to a kid to do. Definitely easier than rolling out and browning 50 mini-meatballs.

I make mini quiches with crescent rolls, rip the roll dough into smaller pieces, put in mini muffin tray and fill with egg/cheese/green onion/spinach filling. Bake and then just reheat.
Meatballs are great, you can get the Ikea gravy to go with them.
Love caprese skewers, or fruit skewers. I also like to make gingerbread cookies at this time of year. Roast pecans coated with egg white, brown sugar and cinnamon.
I'm jealous of you OP for having a party to throw. I am full of ideas and have absolutely no one who would want to come. I tried throwing a party this summer and only one woman showed up. Cue the pity party..

Not TJ’s but Whole Foods 365 has mini frozen quiche and spanikopita that are my go to apps if I don’t have time to make something. They are always a big hit.

People talk crap about them here, but I've been to parties with bartenders and construction workers, and parties with judges and surgeons. Everyone loves the mini hot dogs in a crescent roll (pastry pups). Vegetable /chicken spring rolls are greatly loved, potato pancakes, pastry bites with feta and carmelized onions, mushroom and spinach quiche, samosas, etc. So many options!
