Yes, the idea is to get in front of the coaches who might later pick you to be on that ECNL or GA team at those tryouts. We have done it both ways, Cold tryouts and tryouts that were preceded by attending the club's club agnostic skill clinics. Going to a Cold tryout is the much tougher route.

I believe VDA, Arlington and Union played. U13 seems like the last year most of the ECNL teams play super y.
