I did setraline for six months and it did nothing for me except cause weight gain. But then oddly enough, once I stopped using it, I had crazy withdrawal symptoms -- started about two weeks after stopping it and lasted two weeks. After how useless it was for me, I decided that I'd just stick with managing my anxiety without medicines.

I was already taking pretty good care of myself - no recreational drugs or alcohol, regular exercise, healthy diet. The Lexapro was a game changer.
