+ if you search up dictators in history most have a very specific vision about what they want for their countries, flawed dangerous visions, but they had specific goals. US population = 335 million

People 18 or over = 260 million

No. of Americans eligible to vote in 2024 = 240

Voted for Trump = 76 million

76 is 31.6 percent of 240

Conclusion: Trump was elected by 31.6 percent of eligible voters. That is a fraction, not a majority. He won the election but it is not accurate to say that a "majority of the American people have prevailed."

I mean leaving the country is not easy without excessive wealth or a job lined up.

We have tried to move to Canada several times but no jobs will sponsor a visa despite our advanced degrees.

At some point I guess we can apply as refugees, if it gets bad, but then leaving will surely be much harder.
