Notice how Trump once again pits two minions against each other. Within a year, at least one of them will be out--most likely Musk.

None of the other cabinet secretaries will want to give up budgets, scope, authorities, etc. At the end of the day, all these folks are narcissist strivers. The last thing they want is to be the last man around to turn off the lights and fade into irrelevance.
