If the Alpha males you all are referencing are pro athletes or celebrities, it's no secret they'll probably cheat. The better choice is the brilliant, ambitious guy from a good family (parents still married, strong family values) who you meet in business or law school.

It sounds like the women you’re referencing are taking about features like being 6 feet or taller or being very wealthy or very handsome as mutually exclusive. If that’s the case, these men aren’t really that hard to find in men.

The issue is there are very serious issues many men have that coincide along with the one or two desirable features these women are bragging about. Take my experience:

Very tall man, handsome BUT zero career ambition, ski bum

Very wealthy man with his own medical practice BUT a serial womanizer, likely a sex addict and will never settle down

Very handsome and charismatic man BUT full on sociopath, Patrick Bateman aspire-level crazy, as in mutilated animals he hit in his truck.

It’s rare to find the total package. I ended up with a stable, handsome, family oriented man that doesn’t skew on any extreme but has solid character. I’m very lucky.

Most (not all) of the women with those stories were used for sex. No need to be mean and tell them, but that's the reality of it.

I don't live in DC anymore, but when I did it was not uncommon to go on a date with a woman who made sure to drop that she used to date an athlete on one of the local teams or (years ago) a cast member from the Wire etc.

Taller guys aren't something special, they just get more athletic and leadership opportunities which builds their confidence and odds of doing well in life even if they aren't half as good as the average height or quarter as good as the short guy. Same goes for beautiful gals.
