Tonight we're having potato leek soup (got leeks in the CSA) and grilled cheese on home made sandwich bread.

Almost this exactly - salmon, rice, steamed broccoli.

Tried a new salmon recipe from a cookbook recommended on DCUM. It was good! Here it is online: https://www.recipetineats.com/asian-glazed-salmon/

Tonight was Rama’s sausage ravioli with rao’s marinara sauce. But since the question was asked yesterday — I did homemade Parmesan chicken tenders and mashed potatoes. Meant to put out baby carrots but I forgot.

Sorry, you'll never be bobcat girl or lightly fried tuna. Having a chef is passe, cooking is in.

I was thinking that was a brand “chef made” like when I say “Trader Joe’s gnocchi”.

McDonalds. I regret my choices, but the kids were happy. I think this makes twice this year I've eaten McDonalds (and regretted it).

Dolmas! The Trader Joe’s canned dolmas are really good.

Also—my kids use the frozen naan for pizza crusts for weekend lunches. Pro tip!

Dolmas are on the menu!
You have also inspired me to make up a huge batch of sauce this weekend. That with my frozen naan and any variety of toppings + air fryer-- kids are set!

Roast pork loin with apple cider gravy
Air-fried potato roasties
Steamed broccoli with cheese
Bits of leftover stuffing, butternut squash mash

Dessert will be the rest of an Aldi caramel apple whipped cheesecake

A wonderful sort of rice salad, with shredded chicken breast, rice, mango, scallions, cilantro, cucumber, and lettuce, with a creamy ginger, sesame dressing. Yum!
