I think it’s the way you stand or interact with a group, that unless someone is trying to photograph you on purpose, if they’re taking photos to capture “most” of the group, you end up being somewhere out. You’re not in the center of the group (or at least the person she was trying to make sure appears in photos).

Most people learn at an early age how to get into line of sight of a camera lens.

So are you saying you were well positioned and then she took some steps or angles to somehow block your face?!

Lol. Sure go to HR and subpoena her camera shots and see what she took versus selected.

Sounds like you didn’t hang out with her much at the four day retreat so aren’t ready for any of her photos.

Who else took photos? How are the photos you too?

Other than that, who cares about photos someone dumped in the shared drive.

Not quite the same but reminds me of the time a friend of a friend took a photo of three of us at an adult birthday party. Not a big group, not the guest of honor, just three of us. I was mid-blink so she said she'd delete it and retake it. All three of us looked good in the retake. After the party she sent around her photos with the mid-blink one not just included but as the cover photo. Ha! It didn't even include the guest of honor or the cake or anything like that, just me looking particularly bad. Some people are petty about photos.

It’s entirely possible your colleague is passive aggressive or a bad photographer. My sibling included only bad photos of me in a slideshow at my dad’s funeral. Just what I needed that day. They do rude stuff like that all the time, so I spend very little time with them.

Is she, the photographer, in any photos?
