Yes it is a shame social media companies are not held to account. Maybe a law suit or 500 would make them shut this sh$t down. That is a bridge too far for the law and order folks.

You skipped a major step, the parents! But they will continue doing crimes and when they turn into adults will land in prison. Oh, well.

Well many of the parents skipped a major step by creating children that they did not want.

What precipitated this? Was there a concert or something last night?

What? I was there in the evening and thought Navy yard was quite empty.. although some popular spots seemed busy. I had no clue anything whatsoever was going wrong.

November 3, 2020 happened. Which brought in a new, absent US Attorney. But, good news, help is on the way.

I don’t understand what happened. Could someone update please? I live bear Navy Yard. I’m hearing the metro was only closed due to shooting in anacostia, not NY.

Schools aren't allowed to suspend kids anymore, another pandemic era "reform", and it's been at least a decade since social promotion became the norm.

Churches are irrelevant. Personal responsibility is essential. The habit we, as a society, have gotten into of blaming someone or something else for everything needs to stop.

Best solution is to make criminals do manual labor to pay fines and rehabilitation courses.

DC's current practices aren't doing any favors to these young men, if they don't get caught for smaller offenses, they become fearless and go deeper for bigger offenses on a path of destruction.

Maybe parents should do their jobs first?

They didn't. Now what?

Are you going to hire, train and hold accountable new parents?

Fines and community service.

I was in another US city earlier this week and was shocked when I saw police out pulling cars over.

I have a different idea. How about we start with prosecuting and punishing violent offenders.

This^ and fining their parents. Anyone in double digit age should know robbing and hurting anyone isn't acceptable behavior.

All of this. These kids know they can get away with almost anything.
