When did a school board meeting become a trial
No the parent shared their thoughts and feelings about the matter
The parent wasn’t under oath so you know if the parent said anything incorrect they won’t be jailed for failing to speak 100% correctly
About two sex offender hires
Look hiring people is hiring people, do any of you responding here work in HR or interview panels? Do you ask your potential employees if they frequent child porn sites, do you ask about their masturbating habits, perhaps if they are homosexual or trans, do you ask if they like watching videos of animals having sex, do you ask if they like writing lewd messages in their private time on adult themed websites, etc
So wait you don’t ask that? Why is that would it be because it’s not appropriate
People with issues get hired in positions and some do fine and you never hear anything. Others you find out about but being like principal Greer should’ve known the football coach liked lewd role play and the former student with developmental issues might be caught whipping it out during the school day (or whatever happened there)
The point is you can’t predict all these things in advance. Hell if you tried you’d probably never hire anyone. Imagine oh hi I’m applying for a job as teacher oh and I was a former catholic priest
Hiring panel: no sorry can’t hire you obviously your a child pedophile who raped alter boys
See how that works best huh
Anyone she likely left for more money cushy office in gatehouse less stress etc
Hope Langley gets a good replacement though, but if she’s staying on until new hire is in place that tells me that she does care about the students, staff, and school (despite what parents might think)
Sometimes people leave and they’re like I’m out Nov 1, and Nov 1 comes and there is no one as interim even in place. Be happy that she’s trying to support the transition and not just dip out
A corporate recruiter here and this is bull***T. All hirings are contingent on a clear background check. Sexual predators would not have a clear background check and this would have showed up as part of their background check, and the offer could have been rescinded if it had already been extended to them. Most companies hire AFTER the background check has been completed and cleared.
