I'm halfway through it and can't put it down.
I clicked on this thread specifically because I just finished God if the Woods and loved it so much! I’m listening to All the Colors of the Dark. I’m having a hard time getting into it right now but I’m going to stick with it.

Because of this thread, I bought God of the Woods last night, and I just finished it.
I'm unsure if I enjoyed it. Certainly it was effective in how the loose ends were tied up, but people didn't act realistically, and there were too many timelines & characters that didn't need to be included. In particular, there was one character with a POV chapter or two whose perspective was unnecessary.
I was born in the 60s, so I should have identified with the women who were living in the 1970s, but their experiences didn't ring true.
But it was well-written and it kept my interest, so there's that.
Just finished The Hike by Lucy Clarke - it was really good. Great setting - remote mountain hike in Norway, and good character development between a group of four female friends. Definitely recommend.
