I regret not having a more slow pace when my kids were younger. I felt really pressured at work and also to keep them in all the activities possible. It was crazy, in retrospect.

Everything slowed to a stop during Covid and that really opened my eyes about the craziness.

Curious also?

My one regret is not saving earlier. I missed out on a lot of compounding interest.

I actually loved law school and have had a career I love at firms and policy positions. I’m very lucky, I think.

I deeply regret not going to law school. I have been trying for years to pivot to tech content policy but it's nearly impossible because I didn't go to law school. I never had any discipline or study skills, so I console myself with the fact that I would not have done well in law school because you actually need to study for that.

Hmm. Not one of those PPs, but attending law school is one of the few things I don't regret. I had the time of my life, tbh. Only practiced for 8 years though.
