Exactly. I wonder why anyone would prescribe these drugs to her. I thought they were not prescribed simply for vanity purposes.

She said she’s on compound. They prescribe that to anyone who asks (even to those that don’t ask).

Why is a 145-lb woman taking this?

No really I don’t.

Yeah it actually turns out ozempic face is not a thing. Your face looking different when you lose weight is. That’s not the same thing!

We know what it looks like. You lost that weight in 8 weeks though, which isn’t healthy for anyone. You can try to justify it all you want, it’s not a healthy pace of weight loss and there was muscle and probably some bone density lost in the process because you simply stopped eating. I don’t care if people want to turn to these meds for losing 15 lbs or 150 but coming onto this board and trying to tell people that was somehow 15 lbs of pure fat and nothing else gone in 8 weeks is not going to fly.

Yes but I eat healthy and work out 4 times a week as it is. I just could not lose weight.

I’m your height and 165 despite eating very healtth and working out and having an active job. I’m surprised you were prescribed it at that weight.

I’m shocked. That feels like malpractice or at least negligence.

I also agree that if you lost that quickly you likely lost a good amount of muscle. I’d work on strength training.

I haven’t. I do measurements and testing for all this. My muscle and hydration is in the perfect range for my height. I look healthy. I definitely don’t have ozempic face and don’t look super thin either. I have an athletic, curvy build. 5’5 and 120’s does not look sick at all but I don’t want to lose any more. 128/129 looks great and healthy for my height and is my ideal so if I taper down and gain a few I’ll be good. Sz 4, 27 waist, 34B

I highly doubt you lost 20 lbs of pure fat and no muscle in one month. When you reduce calories so significantly that you are losing 5 lbs/week some of that is muscle mass.

You aren't on a "super low" dose. You are on the starter dose. Some people never move past that.

Have you talked to your doctor? With a healthy BMI and an auto immune disease this really should be done via your doctor and not a weight loss clinic.
