My kid didn't but many of her friends liked it. What she enjoyed was walking laps and chatting with friends. She was not interested in running and thought the workbook/journal parts of GOTR were boring.

My DD didn’t like it because it was SO much running- the leaders were marathoners and basically set up a loop in the community and the kids ran it as much as they could. Her friends dropped out after the first week so she didn’t enjoy it.
So, very dependent on the leaders.

What the hell is wrong with you? Nasty comment, and dumb, too. The OP asks a completely reasonable question.

There’s nothing reasonable about the question unless you’re an idiot.

If you feel this is a valid concern you should reach out to your GOTR organizers for your city and express your concerns. They can and do make announced and unannounced site visits. If you’re in DC it’s GOTRdc.org and they’re super responsive.
