I signed up for 6am hot yoga (my favorite) MWF. When I get there I think to myself that we’re the “go-getters”. I do weights the other days using an app that gives me a lot of positive feedback. I feel that my circadian rhythm has changed. I’m falling asleep more naturally earlier.

Your body wants to sit and rest. You literally just force yourself and don’t make it an option. Eventually it becomes habit. You still don’t always want to do it but it becomes easier to just push through

I think this is the key. I retired recently and still prefer to get up early and work out even though I could do it literally any time now. My brain and body are just conditioned to early morning.

Even when I was working I would get up early on Saturdays to work out because if I let myself sleep later, I just didn't feel like working out. I almost felt groggy. Exercise is the reason for getting up early so there's never any conflict.

Do 15 minutes of tabata-style HIIT in the morning, take a brisk 30-min walk at lunch, then 30 mins of floor-based yoga or Pilates in the evening. No session is a huge time suck (waking at 4:00 to drive somewhere to work out? Puh-lease!).

Yes. THIS.

Plus, work out on your lunch hour if that works better.

Since you only WOH three days, make one or even two of them your days off for the week. Just work out once, and you'll feel great. Once you get the hang of that, you could add a second day.

I misread your schedule. Maybe if you could do one morning day that Tuesday - or fit it in during the work day if possible
