I know you are joking but this needs to be called out. If your kid only plays striker, never passes, and basically just scores for the team with no other contributions then they are actually one of the weaker players and the coach doesn't trust them anywhere else on the field, which is bad. They almost all stop playing by high school or when they bump up to harder competition with real defenders.
