Read/listen to Noam Chomsky on manufacturing consent. My view on media will never be the same. News organizations are not interested in truth seeking - only interesting in pulling you to the side of the conflict that serves their interests.

In fairness, Fox also has a handful of legit reporters.

Everything surrounding them makes it unwatchable, though.

AJ is a Qatari-based news organization but they are definitely worth listening to/reading. They will give you information that you will never see in mainstream US media outlets. And AJ has excellent journalists who report from all over the world.

Truthfully yes. I’m sorry that bothers you. I don’t trust AJ as far as I could throw a single paper, and think they flatly hide their support for terrorist activity in their reporting. But I also do not think the mainstream US media is remotely trustworthy.

There has been too much water under the bridge for the US media. They simply aren’t trustworthy.

Oh stop the false outrage. Nobody is saying don’t read AJ. People should. But that doesn’t mean it isn’t as much a propaganda outlet as the NYT. And the PP referred to a specific monarchy, which doesn’t apply to the whole ME, so you need to learn to read more closely as well.
