I used to drink and watch sex and the city episodes during the day when ds was around 1-2 . It was amazing. I think I did it in the day sometimes and evenings sometimes. Ds is totally fine. He’s 8 now.

I do this almost monthly.

How old is your kid?

I am the parent who travels for work. I now do the red eye. I do the big grocery shop before I go. I also cook dinner in advance for the next day, something that can be reheated. I make sure the calendar is up to date. I hire babysitters and have the nanny stay late on certain days. It's the mental load, heightened, but it makes me feel better about traveling internally for a week at a time.
