I understand yelling at a Premier League game...that makes sense as I do it. But my kid is out there dude...I would never be at this game if my kid wasn't out there. How are you conflating the two? Not sure this is coming from a Loudoun parent, although it could be. These look pretty evenly matched with the exception of B09 and G08.

I saw an EDP division 1 game of u11 boys. Juventus vs Borussia. My kid has a friend playing in each team so we went to see.
Juventus parents were shouting "stop being lazy!!!!!!run!!!!"when their boys were down by two goals. Micromanaging every single movement. "Faster, pass, run, foul!". Suddenly, one of their players clearly brings a ball down with the arm in their goal area. Ref didn't see it and they were dead quiet.
Sad state of affairs.

The irony...the kids with the worst parents on the sidelines are always the biggest whiners. Cause nothing is every there fault. They don't take responsibility for anything cause mommy and daddy throws a fit. They learn what whining is from their parents. OP here...I am literally mute every game for this exact reason. (Like, it's one of my main focuses every match...to keep my mouth shut.) What you just described is exactly what I don't want to be. I'm investing in my children and trying to raise men, not babies who yell at everything. They need to fight for what they care about on their own and not have daddy throw a fit on their behalf. You are investing in yourself, and you are "invested" because you are thinking about you. But thanks for giving us the view of the guy getting kicked out!
Oh, and our team is good and trending towards ECNL playoffs again.

Puzzled. Is this conversation about NVA ECNL or ECNL regional league. I suspect this person thinks wining regional league makes either club or team good. Otherwise teams were relatively equal with edge going to GF because they teach their kids bully soccer.

I did play for 18 years myself and I leave the coaching to the coaches. If I ever thought coaching was bad- we’d just leave the following year. I wouldn’t undermine.

Not PP, and not a shouter, but I understand (I think) what PP I’d trying to say. If you’re a fan, it’s normal to be involved and rooting, groaning, calling for a card etc. Right on that accord.
BUT
These are kids, and shouldn’t be harassed or verbally assaulted by parents or anyone. Parents lose their damn minds at kids sports.
And as another PP said, it absolutely gets worse the lower down the pyramid you go. The kids are there to have fun, but the parents…”care.” It’s embarrassing for them.
Groaning? Oh god no. Please don’t be the douche loudly groaning when a 10-year old makes a mistake. What a douche.
