Talking through out the game is fairly normal from my lifetime with the beautiful game playing it and watching it. Dumb refs get yelled out, good plays get adulation and applause, bad plays get groans. But the 5% is the checking in with yourself to see if the ref you feel like yelling at has hit puberty yet. Most things are only audible to 3 people around me but if being a fan means sitting on my hands and politely clapping like its a tennis matcth then nope, brand me that guy then in your own ignorance.

Loudoun parent can’t handle losing clearly.
Not sure this is coming from a Loudoun parent, although it could be. These look pretty evenly matched with the exception of B09 and G08.
B12 1-2 (Loudoun win)
B11 2-1 (GFR win)
B10 2-3 (Loudoun win)
B09 5-2 (GFR win)
B08 1-0 (GFR win)
B07/06 0-0
G12 2-2
G11 1-0 (GFR win)
G10 1-1
G09 1-1
G08 1-7 (Loudoun win)
G07/06 1-1
I stuck around at 10 game. 09 was 4-2 and was even matched.. Loudoun just happened to pass to GF striker twice.. cant win games that way..

Tootles.
Whiny parents of soft kids that get knocked around are always boohooing on here. Please grow up and put your name behind a real complaint in writing.
Tootaloo!

Yes, I hope my kid is doing well, but for thousands and thousands of $ per year, never mind the time drain, I'm invested. It's very natural to yell things at the direction of the field. Don't act like you're just mute the whole game unless your team is that bad you have nothing to yell about.
Anonymous wrote:Agree, OP. It's nuts (though I definitely would not limit that to ECNL).

Puzzled. Is this conversation about NVA ECNL or ECNL regional league. I suspect this person thinks wining regional league makes either club or team good. Otherwise teams were relatively equal with edge going to GF because they teach their kids bully soccer.

That parent is here!
Not PP, and not a shouter, but I understand (I think) what PP I’d trying to say. If you’re a fan, it’s normal to be involved and rooting, groaning, calling for a card etc. Right on that accord.
BUT
These are kids, and shouldn’t be harassed or verbally assaulted by parents or anyone. Parents lose their damn minds at kids sports.
And as another PP said, it absolutely gets worse the lower down the pyramid you go. The kids are there to have fun, but the parents…”care.” It’s embarrassing for them.
