I am surprised the cost was low but celebrities do wear affordable things when they feel like it.
It looked pretty much the same on her as on the web model. So, I think she achieved what she was going for.
As a pp noted, he could have easily arranged a designer loan for her. It would have taken one minute to give an asst. instructions. She wore a cheap polyester dress on a very big-deal red carpet, her first, because he showed no regard for her. In any way at all that we can see.
+1 No one is saying he should've picked her outfit. We're saying he could've and should've connected her to one of the luxury fashion houses. They were emphasizing the four of them so it makes sense she wouldn't be left out in that department.

I saw amal talk to her once in the theater and that was only because Ines said something first. She went back to talking to her friend afterwards. Other then that I haven't found any real interactions on the boat rides or the red carpet either. I never got a classist vibe from her before
