Well, keep in mind that private school families pay taxes. If I remember correctly, the lawsuit made the argument that transportation and schooling were separate services. Parents of private school students pass on the free schooling, but not the free transportation. And as they were paying for both, they should receive the services they choose.

I wish our location had private shuttle services. We pay $300 a month for the regular school bus, which drops off 15 minutes away.

This is still the case in PA. Nephew gets door to door service on a van to and from his house and private school, for free and arranged by the public district. Can you imagine how much easier your life would be if your kids got that?! (I can!)

Or maybe I'll sue the Kennedy Center, for not picking me up in Chevy Chase to whisk me to my operas during the seaons?
