Acura MDX, about $100/month (if that). I work from home 3x/week and when I commute to the office it is < 5 miles round trip.

Wow! Impressive! I wish I could get DH to be more open minded about an EV. He’s fixated on the cost of replacing an EV battery but I assume the fuel savings offsets that.


That’s not a real issue. The ev batteries last 15-20 years, most come with a 10 year warranty and manufacturers are moving to 15 years to help the resell value.

So I recently took a trip and had to rent a car. First time filling up with gas in 4 years. I forgot what a pain in the a$$ it is and how expensive gas is. I was thinking of paying for the refill service but the prices looked so high I did not do it. When I was driving around I started looking at gas prices again…the refill price was competitive with the gas stations

Are single family houses available there? Are these like many offers, overbids and waived inspections? Looking for a place less dense that's easy to get a single family.

There are a few in Hardinsburg starting at $130,000.
