With the state of the world, they should be teaching kids how to forage for food and build fires and shelter after a nuclear apocalypse. Harvard won’t help with that.

This happened at my child's religious private last year, same grade. Thought it was baselining etc. She was bored out of her mind in math all year, only told me the extent of it after. Back to public, already much more rigorous.

Call the principal. That's ridiculous. Does the teacher have a teaching or math degree? Are they splitting the class for level skills? My 5th grader would be so embarrassed to be asked to color and work .ath facts. Again,call the principal asap.
