Our kids loved the Spruce Point Inn in Maine. Not cheap but also not "fancy." They loved being free to roam.

I think any amount of time would be fun. It is such a unique experience for a hotel.


We usually spend all day in the parks so I’m thinking that we would want the day at Animal Kingdom to be a full rest day. So that means two nights I think. Maybe a good plan would be arrive the day we do AK, then next day is rest day, then check out.

ooh great one! Colorado in the summer is a bargain in general and a direct shorter flight from DC. does the YMCA have a pool?
