It's a huge house but someone manages to look cramped, small, and lacking storage.

It’s an ugly house and it’s not staged to sell. The paint colors are pretty bad. That upstairs hallway is ridiculous.

That’s a lot of $$$ for a house that is nothing special inside. The entire house needs to be painted. Those are some ugly colors. The kitchen at least needs the cabinets repainted and a new countertop, and at most needs a complete renovation. The house doesn’t show well for the price.

Only the big builders like Toll Brothers still do two level family rooms.

I'm not sure but my guess is the cost would be substantial. It's such a dumb waste of space.

Don’t think so. Have not seen two-story rooms in new constructions here.

It's a really nice house, actually, but it's not set up in a way more people would want to live in. Agree some updates would go a long way. Sellers should at a minimum paint kitchen cabinets white, paint all walls and ceilings a light color, and re-photograph with less stuff. Don't think the price is wildly off for this house/lot/location, it could get there with some relatively minor refinishing. Long-term, think the floors would need to be refinished or replaced.

This needs a more neutral paint scheme. It's a very open design. For that amount of money, I want separate walls, not one giant open area. The yard also looks huge, which is a pain if you are not into landscaping or don't feel like spending a fortune on yard maintenance.

The indoor movie theater concept is also super dated.

And really, an over million dollar listing and they left the bedrooms looking like that?

The lawyer foyer, cat walk, garden tub, and super dark kitchen all scream 90s.

I’d want to dump at least another $200k into updating the kitchen and master bath. And then all new paint. By the time you pay to bring this house into the 21st century it probably makes sense to just buy something newer.
