I am a tolerant Democrat. I tolerate everyone in the workplace. Muslims, Jews, Hindus. They should all be able to come to work without having your religious crap crammed down their throats. They are there to do a job, not be proselytized to. I'm sure this will go right over your head.

Sounds like they weren’t interrupting your job. They left an envelope. You could have thrown it away. You could have taken it home to read it. You could have fed it to the shredder. You chose to open it and read it.

You're not very bright. Leave people alone. No one wants your crap.

I'm livid. It was in our mailboxes. The secretary must have agreed to let a parent do this.

You are "livid" over something like this?

I really, really hope you're not my kids' teacher. Because you sound mentally unstable.

This doesn't say it's ok to distribute religious materials to all of the staff and proselytizing. It just protects you while privately praying.

Our school sends home barely veiled advertisements for local businesses. They are labeled “after school activities” but they’re just advertisements for random coaches or sketchy music “schools” no one had ever heard of. It’s incredibly annoying. Chalk this up to being similar OP and move on.

(I’d be very annoyed too and it’s inappropriate but is it worth a fuss? If it is, then raise it with your principal.)

So is it just as bueatiful for Islamic people to shove their religious content in your box?

I think I'll put scarves in all of the mailboxes at my son's school and tell them how beautiful it is to cover up.

I'm sure the PP will agree on how beautiful that is too.

I'd like a scarf

Of course! I would welcome anyone putting things in my mailbox. I’d glance at it and trash it, but wouldn’t go complaining on the internet in a faux outrage. I respect their right to free speech too much for that.

Why do you assume the outrage is faux? It's very real. Keep your religion to yourself.

Why? Why should I keep it to myself?

Only Evangelists are allowed to inject their message into other people's business.

I literally don’t care. You can put a full head thing that just shows the eyes. I’d rip it up and use it as a dust cloth but wouldn’t care that you left it.

That totally shows how little you'd care. Keep your religious crap out of public schools.

You’re right I don’t care because it doesn’t hurt me. That’s how free speech works. You should move if you don’t like it.

Nope, my taxes pay for that school. You move if you want to have a Christian state or whatever shit you're trying to do.

Because it doesn't belong in a public school, according to this little thing called Constitution. You all have been trying to slip it in under the guise of caring, but I want no part of it.

If it were real you’d be discussing it with the principal, not the internet.

I'm not the OP you idiot. I would be discussing it with my HR if someone distributed that in my office.
