Oh Christ. So typical. The drama of the fights and make up. Bipolar and histrionics. These people are all the same, they equate snd mistake strife and drama for love. They must have all come from dysfunctional families.

In almost all of the married woman ones cheating and husband finds out—husband divorces her whether discovered on his own or told by the AP’s wife. Not a single one of those did the APs stay in contact after. The male APs completely ghosted and disappeared.

From people in my job and two friends of mine who have been through this, in every case except three the couples broke up and the husband ended up with the AP. All of those marriages are actually still going strong as far as I know.

Of the three remaining cases, in one the marriage survived. In another, the man dumped the AP, stayed with his wife but went on to another AP in a few years. In the third, he dumped them both immediately and ended up with another woman within a year or two.

A few months after we met, AP told his wife he wasn’t happy and wanted out of the marriage. They started working towards divorce. A month later she found out about me. Two months after that the divorce was finalized (no kids). He moved to my city and we married a year later. We have a happy life. It is my understanding DH’s ex is also remarried and happy.

I make a good salary and DH is making more now than he ever has - mostly due to moving to my city with better job opportunities.

This thread is weirdly affirming - I've never cheated or been cheated on but these boards can make it seem like everyone does and it's NBD and good things happen to bad people. But it seems like it blows up your life, as it should.

In that particular case, the AP moved on, married another man, and gets to live rent free in the pp’s head forever while she stalks her on Instagram and gloats about AP’s sad childless cat lady life on DCUM.

Not a happy ending I think.

Oh yes. They all believe anything. The willingness to believe. They also have bad wishes for the wife and her family. She doesnt love AP like they do. All kinds of psycho, with zero care or empathy.

In 95% of the cases, the man drops AP like a hot potato, immediate no contact and the other woman is left shocked and traumatizes that his promises of running away together, building a life, having kids was just straight up BS to get laid.
