We did a one night trip to the Inn at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club & Spa and enjoyed it. Had lunch in Annapolis, checked in and hung out by the pool, dinner on property and in the morning had spa treatments. Perfect for what it is.

I love to do a fall weekend at Glen Gordon - have breakfast, go up into the park to hike, then come back down and have the dinner which has always been amazing.

Sofitel down town Philly. Comfiest bed in the world.

They've just remodeled the lobby.

There are a lot of good restaurants within walking distance.

Dh and I went to Philadelphia for a weekend and had a great time.
We stayed at the Ritz which was nearby to a lot of attractions and restaurants.
We did some little sightseeing and had nice dinners.

Barboursville Vineyard, although hard to get a reservation.

St Michaels - Inn at Perry Cabin or the Wildset.

DCUM posters never seem to disappoint as I knew someone would eventually mention the Inn at Little Washington on this thread. Yawn…..zzzzz. So unoriginal. Unfortunately, I found out the hard way. The inn, service, and “Michelin star” food are so overrated and overpriced for what you get. Think out of the box.
