Not true. They might send home paperwork to see if you qualify for free internet.
OP, this is so dumb. Internet is a utility and the 20 min a day isn't going to do anything to your child. In fact, if you insist on putting them so far behind their peers in their ability to use the technology, you're doing them more harm than 20 min of online learning.

It's lazy on the part of schools, and a bit unrealistic to expect families to pick up the slack.
But here's the kicker: I'm privileged, just like OP. So I can make a huge fuss about the violence inherent in the system! (ok not violence. that was monty python).
Poor people will stay quiet and bend their lives around to get wifi in a parking lot and a print out for 15 cents at kinkos.
Think about that.

Gorillas can use the internet. It's not putting them far behind. Besides, we have internet - I just want to discourage snow days going virtual!

Yes, this parent should be ashamed. What a ridiculous post. Provide what your kids need.
They don’t need online “learning” on a snow day.
You probably don't believe in climate change either. Snow days are becoming a thing of the past. And if you're at APS you can be assured that the first few will actually be days off, not virtual learning days.
Turn on your internet, fool.

This is a fake post. Move on.
