Isn’t there an adult children forum now already?

Make the “adult children” forum broader to accommodate the long list of demands.

From the looks of things, we need a colonoscopy forum. Sorry to derail, I couldn't help myself.

Please don't do this. I have never had children and I would love to have an over-50 board. No need to restrict the audience artificially.

Most posters are 50 and over anyway, we don't need a separate forum for that "unique" perspective!

If you do decide to bring back the over 50 forum or start a new forum, my suggestion is to call it "empty nesters".

Another vote for bringing back 50&over. I like the new Perimenopause etc forum. Eldercare should be a new forum and the old forum renamed back to 50&over. If you move the Eldercare threads out you will see there is plenty of variety in other uniquely 50+ topics still there.

Another vote for a 50 plus or midlife board. I am 50 but went through early menopause at 46 so for some of us they are very different topics. I am also an older mom that won’t be an empty nester until 60. I don’t feel old but yes my issues vary alot from 20/30 year olds. I found DCUM when I was 37 and started with the incredible infertility board.

I have issues right now about retiring, downsizing, grief, etc. that there is really no forum for.

Please bring back Over 50.

Money forum
Real estate
Family relationships

The questions that I have do not involve Money or Real Estate, and grief at 50 plus is very different from grieving in your twenties and thirties. Unless you are 50+ you really don't know what you are talking about. I've been on DCUM since I was 32.

Another vote from someone who would love an over 50 forum.

It’s all anonymous so you don’t know who is giving perspectives.

Like when people who haven’t had young kids for decades are giving outdated advice on parenting threads.
