A baby in only a diaper laying and then crawling in the dirty, visibly stained airport floor. Mom was speaking Russian on the phone not even paying attention as her baby crawled all over the floor. Ick!

I helped a Tibetan monk in full garb
(including pointy shoes) navigate from Kathmandu through to the transfer desk at Hong Kong airport. He had a little sign that said "I don't speak English, please help me".

At O’Hare I saw a homeless person who had set up a home in a handicapped bathroom stall in the old small bathrooms with those weird stainless doors in the H or J gates. It was within the last decade so it’s not like a pre-9/11 situation. They had a rolling upright grocery cart (the kind you use in the city) stuffed with plastic bags and stacks of other things that were visible against the door.

I think about it often and wonder how they got into the airport and how long they had been living there and how many airport employees just sort of went along with it. Maybe they were not homeless and had a job at the airport when they started a work day and by the end of the day their life had changed and that’s where they lived forever after?

The weirdest thing I’ve heard in an airport was an announcement for whoever left their puppy in the women’s room near Gate # whatever to please retrieve the dog. How do you forget your loose dog?

One time dh and I were in an airport restaurant and the waitress had just brought dh the fruity umbrella-adorned drink he’d ordered, when we realized Stone Cold Steve Austin was sitting across from us. Dh wished he’d ordered a more manly drink.

Two RHOCs flying to Hawaii. It was strange to actually see them being filmed throughout the flight.

I have no idea. I was but a mere peon making my way back to steerage and just kind of figured whoever could do this lives in a world the rules don't apply and money has no meaning so these details are irrelevant.

This is what I remember about my trip to China more than anything. Diapers have an opening and parents split the kids' legs while holding them so they don't soil.
