If this is a drastic change, then take him to a doctor for a check up.
If he's just slowly changing his views, then talk to him about why. See if there's some way to meet on common ground before just divorcing. There are lots of couples with one R and one D. It's not like either side is 100% right or wrong. In real life, adults don't leave their spouse the second their views diverge.
NP. Every time there is one of these threads there are always these posters that really believe the issue is differing political views. If this is you I promise that you simply do not understand what people are living through. I've kept my marriage together, but just barely. I would love to have a political discussion with my husband, but that's not possible anymore because any such discussion will cause him to pretty much froth at the mouth with rage inside of five minutes. It's painful and isolating.

Anonymous wrote:I need some examples of this "hateful speech". I got called "hateful" by the PTA president for not wanting to mask my kids in May 2022. I also got called "hateful" on Facebook for all to see for sending my kids to Catholic school after that. That word gets thrown around to the point of meaninglessness.

Ima guess there was something about your tone and demeanor and attitude when you did those things.
And refusing to mask your kids *was* hateful because it indicated selfish contempt for those around you. People often interpret reckless, antisocial behavior like that as hateful, especially when forcefully and performatively displayed.
Not wanting your kids to mask is in no way hateful you dolt.
You're not the sharpest knife in the drawer, are you? The burned-out bulb in the chandelier? Read what I said again. The bottom line is no one gave a shit what you "wanted." Your desires weren't valid or relevant. But this had more to do, I suspect, with the WAY you went about expressing your invalid, anti-social, desires. That others perceived to be reckless and selfish.
So, yeah, it was hateful. Deal with it. You're a shitty person.
