We are paying for his college, and want to put some "requirements" in place for him to take his next year more seriously and do better.
What is realistic?
Should it be that he has to earn a certain GPA, or he has to pay a portion of the fees? What is a realistic GPA expectation before that kicks in?
Should it be that he has to pay a certain amount for C grades or lower?
A combination of the two?
I know everyone's situation is different, but I would be curious how others have handled this.

A lot of hiring managers will want to see the GPA on the resume for a recent grad. If I saw a C from JMU, I'd pass. And I went to a school like JMU.
