This was the trending thing about Vance on Twitter yesterday, he's dealing with media calls about it and it was popping up in threads last night—all of the memes. Even as a Vance hater, I found it improbable that he really admitted that, so I did some research and in about three seconds I found a thorough debunking (posted in the OP). So I thought I'd be helpful and post a thread debunking it. Would you have preferred if we let people say things that are not true about him?

He should address this and then we can get on with talking about ACTUAL issues.
