What about overnight guests? And... most people bring tampons with them.
Do people really flush tampons down the toilet?
I thought when they said not to flush tampons they meant not to flush the applicator. I had no idea people took that nasty bloody tampon and rolled it in toilet paper and put it in a trash can.

Does anyone have a gentle/humorous way of saying "please only flush toilet paper" for their guest bathroom? Do you have a sign?

Someone who likes when water can flow through their pipes, and knows that many people never learned how to use a toilet properly. It's only "micromanaging" if you were about to clog OP's pipes.

Why would overnight guests bring wipes with them? The only time I've had wipes they've been Clorox Wipes and I've wiped down airplane seats, not my ass. And ... doesn't everyone know to wrap their tampon in toilet paper and stuff it in the bottom of the trash can so nobody can see any hint of blood?
A lot of people (when staying overnight) bring and use flushable wipes, especially for kids who are still working on wiping. I’m with PP who thinks generally tampons are flushable unless it’s old/wonky plumbing. Going to do some research…
