I agree. I personally think this is ridiculous, and I am of this age group. Without a doubt, the women who make menopause into this huge thing and hyper focus on it have the most trouble with it. Plenty of us are going through it with minor to no issues with it and have plenty of other things to think about related to health and wellness.

We already have a health and medicine forum. I don’t see a need for this. But it’s my preference I suppose… I don’t like so many categories.

I think the original idea was to keep it streamlined to peri/menopause.

I’m the one who recommended Women’s Health. It could also include sexual function and contraception. Basically everything related to woman-specific health except things that fall into the TTC forum.

Mostly worried about the intrusive nature of folks when we talk about women’s bodies. And as a woman currently in the grips of perimenopause I feel like there is room for overlap for woman experiencing other reproductive health related concerns. Especially pain and period related things. So often symptoms are similar.
