On our swim team, it’s normal for 10 year old boys to talk and play with 14 year old girls, for 12 year old boys to talk and play with 8 year old girls. It’s a small swim team and groups are more mixed in ages than others. Kids have also known each other since preschool. I would talk to the coaches about not allowing tickling and, but playing is normal.

Mine is 11 and they play physical with their friends and little siblings and still show some immature little kid behavior. The kid doesn’t realize yet the adults are the nasty ones with inappropriate thoughts. I don’t see the same behavior from 11 yo girls as most have started puberty and don’t want to play with younger kids.

kids with adhd and mild asd often play with younger kids.
Please do not put some weird intent on this kid. Mine just turned 11 and still plays witn stuffies and needs my help to go to sleep. You are the only one making it creepy

I have a 7yo DD and also teen boys. My boys want nothing to do with the little girls. I would be disturbed by an 11yo boy playing and tickling my daughter. I also would not want a 7yo boy tickling my daughter either.

My BIL also tickles her and carries her upside down and I’m not a fan of that.

x1000 OP sounds creepy casting disgusting thoughts on to little kids innocently playing. But agree it’s not safe to be horsing around in the pool and the instructor needs to be on top of this.

What's so odd?? They're kids playing, did you only strictly play with kids your exact age growing up?


When I was 11 I did not play with 7 year olds at the pool.
