NVSL will wait it out as much as possible, but if they have to they’ll move to Thursday. It’s been done in the past. It could depend on where you are compared to storms and thunder.

That works if you have lights. No all pools have them and some that do are restricted in how late they can remain on

The sun is up by 7:30 am. It’s not an issue.

That works if you have lights. No all pools have them and some that do are restricted in how late they can remain on

They can't move them. Pools are telling their membership that the pool is closed during prime afterwork hours in the middle of the summer in order to cater to a small subset of the swim team. It's already hard enough to find hosts, getting membership to agree to close the pool on another day would be hard

Sheesh. The neighbors in the houses around our pool claim they can't hear. They are lying (I'm further away from our pool and can still hear sometimes), but it's a nice white lie. It helps that the closest of them had kids on swim team years ago and have fond memories.

The heat wasn’t bad, but even our (typically frigid, unheated, fairly “fast”) pool was far too warm. 80% of kids added a bit of time, which could be due to the outside heat and the pool temp. Or just second week slump.

No thanks. Ours started at 9:00 and ended at 11:30. Warm up was 8:00 and we had to meet in our pool to caravan to another pool at 7:40. Starting an hour earlier would be too much.
