I found most doctors are marginal at best. I have a bunch of health issues and struggle and most doctors have blown me off even when tests show clear issues (tests they ordered). Its really frustrating and I keep trying but have pretty much accepted this is the best it will get.

Computer programs will save us. Maybe we'll download an app. It could come with coupons.

I don't know OP - my spouse is a doctor and he says a lot of the same things as your parents. I also come from a family of docs and everyone avoids going to see doctors themselves.

Why? Because most of them are not great. Quite a number of them are so arrogant that they won't listen to you, and I imagine the problem only worsens as you get older. You are just a number to them. The ones who are really good and kind tend to be extremely hard to get an appointment with.

What could go wrong? A brave new world awaits.
