Go for it. I dated someone 15-16 years younger than me and I was amazing.

Can’t say I loved her but cared for her deeply, has it gone on longer I probably would have. She was a great woman.

I had more issues with our age gap than she did but it worked when it did. Just be certain you understand he had different issues than you as stages are different. I’m already healthy and active so I side ti work out with her. It helps if you’re active and encourage him to join you.

But if you have feelings for him then go for it

You are 41 and 56 - not 21 and 36 which IS a huge difference.

If you are attracted to each other and love each other - I say go for it!

and the millions of middle age single women lamenting online that all they attract are younger and older guys for “hookup” not relationships… certainly not love.

Im embarrassed to let men on OLD know my real age. I was called a catfish because they could not believe I'm 42. Said j looked line a teenager and wanted more pictures. No filters used either.

yeah, but she could be wasting precious time. Say they marry and he dies at 70, she’ll be 55. That’s a tough age to find a new spouse if she doesn’t want to be alone forever after that.

Unlike 41, where men are in desperate search of a woman just entering menopause?

Have you met any women in that troll basement you dwell in?

think of Dixie Carter and Hal Holbrooke--they were the loves of each other's lives and he was older than her, but outlived her.

She still had good time with him and kept one eye open. It's not like she is going to find the lovely man any time soon. Many are looking, myself included.

Life can be brutally unpredictable no matter what. I say take love and a cherishing partner whenever you can find it.

If you are asking this forum what to do you probably already know what you want/need but are scared.

I wouldn't get married, but I wouldn't have an issue being in a committed relationship.

15 years is not exactly "older" - I expected you to say you're 40 and he's 70.

Statistically, women live longer than men - so even if you're the same age you are likely to end up alone for some time in life. You can be alone now and roll the dice on finding someone you like as much, who won't die a lot sooner than you - or you can enjoy these middle years with someone you purport to love. And either way, end of life isn't going to be a picnic for anyone.
