No one’s forcing you to live in NoVa, and no one’s forcing you to send you kid OOS. Own your decisions, quit your whining.
I guess the concept of state schools is lost on you.
Quite the contrary, I think it’s lost on you. You think your property taxes entitle your kid to a spot at UVA?
Never said anything about being entitled. Are you always so dishonest in your disagreements are you just here to be an a-hole? Because you just sound like an a-hole. Which is sadly what I’ve come to expect from UVA sycophants.
You don’t feel entitled, yet you’re livid about your kid not getting in as a parent who pay property taxes. Your words.
You’re clearly a literal person so online conversation is hard for you. “Similar stats” and “state school” carry weight here. But I suspect you’re not an adult so you don’t understand why parents would feel that residents earning their way in with the same stats as OOS kids is not entitlement.

More like 40k more. One of the two most expensive oos schools in the country. Want more Virginians? Pay for it. Vote for it. Or quit whining. oos students are funding your school...
It won’t make a difference. UVA should be sufficiently large enough to handle virtually all of the very top students in the state. It isn’t and therein lies the problem.
