I had the same exact dilemma. Turns out Princeton is slightly better for a pre-law student, but I was heavily considering it until the last second. It's amazing what you believe when you're younger.

NP, not being a smarta$$, but I get the idea of a "normal" state school is of no interest?

Just not a great overall fit. Not into the big college environments is all.

Sounds like you should tour more SLACs, especially those that encourage study abroad.
