It's #16. It's extremely well respected.
well, put it into context. It's not a T14. UVA is tied at 4 and even GMU/Scalia is at 28
There is no difference between 14 and 16. Silly.
I'm not silly. I'm a harvard law grad and a recruiter. Maybe you should read more. https://www.collegeessayguy.com/blog/t14-law-schools

You clearly are not in the legal field. There’s a reason why it’s called T14.

Below indicates a 3.12 is the rate of those enrolls. so the school - which has rolling admissions - always a bad sign of a school on the rise - is willing to lock into OP's kid NOW in order to get that GPA. But OP's kid is forgoing the opportunity to apply to the higher hanged law schools. Since everything today is about T14 or above to get a job, this is a very bad offer.
What are the odds of getting into WashULaw?
What is the Washington University Law School Acceptance Rate?
Applications Offers
Class of 2023 4,613 1275 (27,64%)

GPA 3.18 3.67
LSAT 161 167
OP here. Thanks good stuff. Practice lsats are not top 10 and may be enough for t14 with the GPA. So we have to keep options open. Hoping with a 4.0 (I know school does not matter but have to beleive coming from an ivy means something) and say a 165-166 there is a shot for bottom of T14. She feels it went well.
Anonymous wrote:OP, ignore the pressure for T14 or bust. It depends on what your kid wants to practice and quality of life matters. Not everyone wants a federal clerkship or a big law job. And yes, students in excellent but not “14” schools are getting federal clerkships and big law jobs. DCUM’s resident recruiter is insufferable.
If your kid is applying straight out of undergrad, they are at a huge disadvantage in admissions unless they bring something else to the table or the school thinks they’re lifting them out of poverty. And going to a still excellent school with a lot of merit aid is smarter than taking in $300,000 debt for a “t14”.

This also what happemed to my DS who was offered unsolicited full freight schaolarships for his 36ACT from schools you haven't heard of. the law school wants to lock in that gpa for reporting reasons; nothing else.
Can you elaborate? Meaning they want them to apply because of the GPA and either accepted or denied it benefits them.
