Yes. Penicillin the antibiotic, is made from the very mold that comes from spoiled food or water coming into contact with surfaces.

Op, did you write a paper about this for school? It’s a solid introduction, but you should know that most everyone knows this about penicillin. (We get many medications from plants and fungi.) dcum is going to be a tough on you so I hope you have thick skin.
