OP here. I made a typo. My AMH was 17.2 pmol/L, not ml.

I'm not sure who told you that - based on conversion to ng/mL that's an extremely low level. Under 1 it's iffy whether you'd have success even with IVF. To give you an idea I had 20 mature eggs and only 1 pgt normal embryo at 37 and 38.

OP here.
If I think about doing 2 or more cycles and travelling for 2 weeks outside DC for every cycle, it's not feasible in terms of my work schedule. (I have flexibility in the summer but not in fall). If I plan on doing multiple cycles, then I think the clinic being in DC is a must for it to be feasible.
For Shady Grove, if I continue to have approx. 4 eggs per cycle, then the pricing makes sense if I do 3 more cycles.
On the other hand, if my egg counts increase the second time around, then the Shady Grove cost will turn out to be prohibitively expensive.
The worst part is I do not know why the egg counts were low given my stats.

OP I posted earlier about going to CCRM. You need to bend somewhere. Just go to VA the night before and stay in a cheap hotel or ask for the latest monitoring and leave early. This is not something where you should be shopping for the cheapest. I’d also not count on using your leftover drugs. Doesnt sound like that was the correct protocol for you, so I doubt a good practice would keep you on it

The EggSafe program at Virginia Fertility is priced at $10000. For a moment I was excited as it seemed to be the best option, but sadly they don't accept outside monitoring patients, and I can't drive 2 hours to Virginia to reach there at 8am in the morning.
The cost of drugs for 4 rounds also really adds up.
I suppose my first step is to discuss the adjustments to medications that I can make on the next round. I heard that some people respond better to less meds so I might discuss mini stim with the doctor as a possibility.
That's really not a feasible plan to do lower drugs for banking eggs. That's a feasible plan for banking embryos.

What units? That's not a level seen for ng/mL. That sounds like FSH in which casse that is a DOR / completely infertile range.

The outcome of actual cycles is much more predicative of success than baseline labs. Washington fertility used to be pretty bad, it may be worthwhile to do a cycle with a more reputable practice.

She said her stats were fine so doesn’t sound like dor to me but I’m no expert - why not see if you qualify for Assure at Shady Grove, try for better outcomes. If it’s not happening, then you reassess. Talk of donor eggs at this stage is just premature.
