I’d say the opposite. From what little I infer from cheating I know about, women don’t have to put in much effort to cheat and men have to work at it. The sin of commission is worse for men.

But a man will usually only have a a singular women or two on the side when he decides to be unfaithful.

Now, I do think sleeping with someone is significantly worse than an emotional affair, but it is still cheating.

Men get caught more because they're careless. I'm stunned at how sloppy they are when they cheat. I'm not sure if they want to get caught or if they think nothing will ever go wrong for them.
