It public information for a reason. CEOs salary are constantly talked about. As are public school Superintendents. And university salaries are constantly debated.
One guy managing one school and making a million dollars should definitely expect scrutiny.
Yes, though I would posit that the anonymous nature of this discussion board allows the conversation to become pervaded with misinformation, lies and abusive vitriol. It's part of the double edge sword of the internet and social media.

NO. Many non-tenured PhD-holding professors at the university level live out of their cars without health insurance. That sort of inequity is third-world type stuff and should not exist in the USA.
