MCPS teacher here and...just hahaha, it's so amazing how the same people will sit here and bash MCPS and simultaneously defend it to death. Pick a side. No wonder no one wants to work in this district. All of my colleagues talk about leaving on a daily basis. It's mostly due to parents. I mean, look in the mirror when your kid has no teachers left.

Please leave. Teaching is a vocation and if you aren’t in it because you love educating you have no business doing it. Enjoy driving an Uber or doing door dash and working all through the summer.

Please look at Frederick county! MCPS is overcrowded and the area is too overpriced we simply don’t need more facetious whiners. What kind of a grown adult are you that asks a question, sees it shrugged off and accepts that then passive aggressively revisits it? Please don’t move here!
