My son thought it was not bad. He said as soon as he opened it and saw Shay's Rebellion, he felt good. The teacher spent a lot of time on that & the Commerce Clause, and both were on the test. He is more of a "4" student than a "5" student, but for his college all he needs is a 4 to get credit for this one.

Yes pay teachers more for teaching smarter, harder working kids with richer parents and more supports.

That will surely motivate teachers to go work at struggling schools with struggling students.

the teachers should get bonus based on AP test results, there is one in our school where the AP average is 2, yet no one does anything about it, its a dump on the kids, we pay taxes--that is what they are for--quality teachers

Not everywhere has the budget for such things, despite it being true. I'm the PP you're responding to and my kid is in an inner city Los Angeles high school without budgets for anything, there's not a single thing in the building that we used to see in MoCo.

how was gov today?

My senior taking Gov today and Stats tomorrow. Gov should be fine but I have fingers crossed for Stats! She has studied a lot for both over the past 2 weeks.

Mine don’t do extra study/prep. Great teachers at our private. Senior has all 5s.

Sophomore taking first this week. Feels prepared he said.

Sophomore taking AP gov this am. They took APUSH last year and got a 4, which isn’t bad for a freshman considering some take it as a junior. I hope they do well, but they’ll also be okay if they don’t, they are more than just one score.

Senior kid has 7 AP exams coming up. His college allows some credits. Also, the intro classes and big and awful so he’s super motived. Needs a 5 to place out of a few college classes.

My Junior has 3 AP exams…said last night he is feeling very overwhelmed. I on the other hand am feeling very happy Junior year is almost over!!!!

DC is a senior. Some of the AP tests are mandatory for the class and some DC can take or not. It doesn't matter because the college DC will attend will only accept a 5 for calculus (which DC will not make) and will not accept any of the others, no matter the score.

We did secure a tutor one year even DD’s teacher quit around March.

My kid had two. Is studying for one of them. But finding it hard to study for AP’s and regular tests/quizzes and finals are coming up too (we get out in May).
