^^^ Oops, quoted the wrong person. I was speaking about the person who was scared of who Trump will surround himself with in his next term.

From my standpoint, even if the worst happens, Kamala is going to have a decent set of competent people around her running the agencies and in the cabinet. I also think she is way smarter than anyone is giving her credit for. She was AG of California. She was a Senator. Personally, I think much of the criticism stems from misogyny.

On the other hand, I am scared of who Trump will have around him. Steven Miller, Steve Bannon, Seb Gorka, Roger Stone, as well as Trump sycophants whose only qualification is that they believe the 2020 election was stolen.

Have none of you been listening when one by one the people like Miley, McMaster, Mark Esper, John Bolton? There are others but those are off the top of my head.

Someone please explain it to me because I don’t get it.

I agree completely. I get not loving her, but I don’t understand the hatred. She strikes me as a normal bland politician - maybe not my first choice but certainly not concerning or risky in any real way.

THIS. Michael Flynn, who is like the father of QAnon, will be in his administration in some way and that terrifies me!

Voting Trump and straight GOP ticket to stop this from happening!

He will never be allowed to be a next president. They will either kill him, like they killed Navalny or jail him for a very long time.

Because it feels like in Russia where everyone is in love with Putin despite the state of despair their country in. Here, our media tells us that the Biden is going to lead all the polls soon (just like Putin), the economy is booming, the inflation is down. The votes seeing totally different picture in their different lives, but who cares, because, like in Russia, it does not matter who votes, it only matter who counts the votes. American will never have a fair election anymore.

She was elected in California. Have you taken note of other elected "leaders" in California? Schiff, Waters, Pelosi....

It is my opinion that had Harris run in most any other state for these positions, she would have never won.
She just doesn't appear to be that smart. Her public comments are evidence of that.

I believe part of why she’s hated is what’s called “misogynoir.” She is both Black and a woman. There also seemed to be a concerted campaign against her, like a mini version of that which was done to Hillary.

The same was said about Biden - based on the state of the economy and country - he doesn't have the most competent people running agencies and in his cabinet.

Agree. He has been horrible for the country - both domestically and foreign policy wise.

Because America is at a tipping point. One candidate offers a brave path forward while the other offers a path of fear and loathing to a highly polarized electorate.

It's the first time in a long time. Only one of the candidates wanted to uphold democracy while the other one openly wanted to become a dictator

The most consequential elections to the average person are the ones the average person doesn’t care at all about and will only participate in if they happen to be at the polling place to vote for president. Think your city council or local school board.

No, OP. It’s because one party no longer believes in democracy and the rule of law.

To get people to vote.
